Who answers for the association and the rules it follows.
Change of leadership
The Extraordinary General Assembly of 30 June 2026 elected, on a single slate, the board for the 2026–2028 term. They will formally take office at the next General Assembly: until then, the board of the previous term stays in office, as the articles of association require. In practice, the board that answers for ABRAHCT today is the one from the 2024–2026 term.

The Audit Committee checks the association's accounts. It is a non-permanent body: it exists only when the General Assembly decides to establish it, and it is the Assembly itself that elects three to five full members (article 36 of the Articles of Association). The final composition will be published after that decision.

- Pedro Moraes is an economist and accountant trained at Unicamp, with an MBA in Finance and Controllership from FGV/SP, a specialisation in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from Stanford University and a postgraduate degree in Health Management from Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein
- He built his career in Finance and Controllership, including spells at PwC, Rimowa and Ottobock. He then turned his executive experience towards entrepreneurship in the Health and Longevity sectors, founding Terça da Serra Residencial Sênior and Revitare – Hospital de Transição
- He is currently CEO and a member of the Board of Administration of Terça da Serra, CFO and Chair of the Board of Administration of Revitare, as well as Chair of the Board of Fiuza – Convivência para Idosos
- An entrepreneur active in the Silver Economy, his purpose is to develop and widen access to high-quality, sustainable and affordable care models, so that a growing number of people in Brazil can grow old with dignity, safety and quality of life

Articles of association
Governance rules.
In short: the people who run ABRAHCT are elected by the members, serve two years and are paid nothing for it. The texts below are the rules of the Articles of Association.
The General Assembly is the association's sovereign body, made up of the Full Members. The Ordinary General Assembly is held once a year, by 30 April.
The Board of Administration has 3 to 5 members elected by the General Assembly, with a two-year term: a president, a vice-president, a treasurer and the remaining members without specific designation. The president, vice-president and treasurer may not hold the same office for more than two consecutive terms. Board members are not remunerated.
The Audit Committee is a non-permanent body: when established by the General Assembly, it is made up of 3 to 5 full members, without alternates, with a term that does not exceed that of the Board of Administration.
ABRAHCT represents the sector, it does not provide care.
